What is SPT?

In Stock Price Trades trading mode you can trade with the shares of underlying assets in the stock market. Traded instruments prices are totally dependent upon the underlying assets. For better idea of SPT mode, when you are making a trade, the instruments you are trading will be traded at the selected stock price of current trading time.

Trading types & Units

In SPT, user can make two types of trades, buy and sell. The change in the stock price of underlying assets in between the duration of buy and sell of trading instrument will affect the profit and loss ratio on trade.  Units is the measuring instrument that will tell the Position of your instrument value that you have bought. It is directly dependent upon the trade type.

The unit buy price is equal to the lowest ask price of the underlying stock at the time of making the trade. The ask price is the price sellers are willing to accept for the stock on the stock exchange.

Trading Conditions

Trade window will show you the relevant trading conditions. You will be shown with mainly two conditions:

·         Current buy price.

·         0% Purchase fee.

Yes, it is true that OT offers the stock price trading mode with 0% Purchase fee on your trade. There is a fixed successful trade fee that will also be shown in the trading conditions. You can also select specific conditions on which you are planning to make trade. 

Getting Started with Buy Trade

To start trading in SPT mode you have to make a buy trade if you are starting from zero units. First you have to choose the stock as underlying asset for the instrument you are trading for first time. Just select the conditions and select the Buy option to confirm.

How Do I Make a Sell Trade?

You can make sell trade only if you have some Position (Units), which only possible after making buy trade for the first time. You can only sell the instruments on which you have performed buy trade. You can check your open position and their volume in the asset list. Select the stock to open the trade window.

In trade window the trading conditions will be already checked that you have selected in buy trade. Maximum units on which you can make sell trade is also shown there which will never be greater than your current position.  Following indicators will be calculated on your trade position.

·         Gross proceeds

·         Sale success fee

·         Total proceeds net of commissions

What is my profit or loss?

Profit or loss totally depends upon the proceeds of the sell trade and investments of position on which you are doing sell trade. Just multiply the difference between the current sell and average buy prices by the number of units you are selling. For easier way here is the mathematical version of formula:

The amount of loss is limited and it cannot exceed the total amount of position investments. 

Effect of sell trade on Position.

Sell trade will decrease the amount of your investments and you can get this amount by multiplying the average buy price and number of units that you have sold.

Fees on Trade

Apart from purchasing fee or fee on sell trade, users are also concerned about the fee that they pay for keeping trade open overnight. If you open a trade on a position and you are holding it overnight, no fee will be charged for that. Your sale success fee will also be shown in the trading condition sections. It will show you the maximum sale success fee.
